Where and when will TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS technology be available for purchase?
Both the TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS handhelds and computer software are now available through Texas Instruments Instructional Product Dealers. Most major retailers are also carrying TI-Nspire handhelds in stores and online. Please go to education.ti.com and click on where to buy to choose a retailer to shop online or find a store near you. At this time, we do not expect to have the TI-Nspire CAS handheld and computer software available at retail in 2008.

What will the cost be to purchase TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS handhelds?
Instructional Product Dealers and retailers will set their own pricing. For reference, you can expect the TI-Nspire handheld to be priced slightly higher than a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition graphing calculator, and a TI-Nspire CAS handheld to be priced slightly higher than a TI-89 Titanium graphing calculator. .
How much does the TI-Nspire computer software cost?
Instructional Product Dealers will set their own pricing. For reference, you can expect the TI-Nspire software to cost slightly less than the TI-Nspire handhelds. For specific configurations and pricing, contact your Instructional Product Dealer.

How will TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS computer software be sold?
Currently, the TI-Nspire computer software is offered as individual "seat licenses" only. Schools and districts that purchase software for installation on school computers must specify the number of computers on which it will be installed. The software must be activated on each computer.

There are three software-only configurations for TI-Nspire computer software.

Single license CD

5-license CD

10-license CD

For example, an educator who would like to install TI-Nspire software on 28 computers in a computer lab would purchase two 10-license CDs, one 5-license CD and three single license CDs.

Will an alternative to loading software on each machine be available?
A NEW Multi-Seat License configuration will be available by the end of March 2008 from 1-800-TI-CARES with a school purchase order. With this configuration, TI-Nspire software is licensed to a specific computer but it can be centrally deployed. Schools purchasing over 10 seats can deploy them through a main terminal, and each computer will receive its own license number.

What configurations of the TI-Nspire handheld can be purchased?
TI-Nspire handhelds will be available to purchase in three configurations: 1. Teacher Pack, 2. single handheld and 3. combination/bundle.

Similar to what is currently offered for the TI-84-Plus family of graphing calculators, TI-Nspire Teacher Packs include 10 EZ-Spot (yellow) TI-Nspire handhelds along with 10 snap-in TI-Nspire Keypads and 10 TI-84 Plus Keypads, each marked with "School Property". Also included is a classroom storage device for snap-in keypads not in use during lessons. Educators purchasing a TI-Nspire Teacher Pack will also receive a 30-day trial version of TI-Nspire computer software.
Educators are also able to purchase a combination/bundle that includes a single TI-Nspire handheld and a single license for the TI-Nspire computer software.
Educators and individuals will be able to purchase a single TI-Nspire handheld from Instructional dealers.
Individuals can purchase a single TI-Nspire Handheld from the TI-Online store and select retailers.

What configurations of the TI-Nspire CAS handheld can be purchased?
TI-Nspire CAS handhelds will be available to purchase in three configurations: 1. Teacher Pack, 2. single handheld and 3. combination/bundle.

TI-Nspire CAS Teacher Packs include 10 TI-Nspire CAS handhelds (in standard color). Educators purchasing the TI-Nspire CAS Teacher Pack will receive a 30-day trial version of TI-Nspire CAS computer software.
Educators can purchase a combination/bundle that includes a single TI-Nspire CAS handheld and a single license for the TI-Nspire CAS computer software.
Educators and individuals are able to purchase a single TI-Nspire CAS handheld from Instructional dealers.
Individuals are able to purchase a single TI-Nspire CAS Handheld from the TI-Online store.

Can I buy TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS technology directly from TI?
Yes. Single TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS handhelds, as well as single TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS software licenses are available for purchase from the TI online store.
